John Wesley Hardin (1853-1895)
Wesley Hardin was one of the worst killers during the time of the Wild West. During his life he managed to kill over forty men.
Already when he was fifteen he became wanted by the law when he killed a black man that Hardin claimed had "waved a stick" at him. During 68-77 he showed up in different places, mostly in Kansas and Texas, and his path was strewn with corpses.
In 1877 he was finally captured and sentenced to twenty-five years in the Montgomery-jail, Alabama. During his time in prison he studied law and after serving sixteen years he was released. He finished his studies and became a certified lawyer!
In 1895 he started a business in El Paso, where he, the same year, met his destiny when he insulted an armed man.
